ABOUT
Caitlin Seager is an interdisciplinary vocalist, producer, and sound designer whose work explores the boundaries of voice, electronics, and improvisation. Trained in jazz and vocology, she creates immersive projects that merge vocal layering, modular synthesis, and cross-genre composition.
Her 2024 album Flower Skin expands the voice into an instrument of sound design, while her film score for Again (Cine Paris Film Festival, Best Original Score) reflects her commitment to experimentation across mediums. She has performed at venues such as Mercury Lounge, Bowery Ballroom, Webster Hall, and Joe’s Pub, as well as festivals including CMJ and SXSW.
Alongside her own projects, Caitlin founded The Vocal Shed NYC, where she mentors singers in developing their artistry—from vocal training to stage performance and studio recording. This dual practice allows her to bridge experimental creation with community engagement, fostering both individual voices and collaborative discovery.
