CLASSES:

 Vocal Technique:

We go through the different components of singing (breathing/posture, resonance/articulation, projection, emotional connection, performance tips, vocal health tips)

  • Breathing exercises to support phrasing

  • Posture (torso and head/neck anchor and relaxation manoeuvres)

  • Warm up exercises designed to identify the role of tongue, velum, jaw and larynx in your voice quality

  • Vocal exercises enhancing flexibility and vocal qualities such as betling, twang, “mixed” voice, “raspiness and breathiness” for pop singing

  • Ear training / Harmony

This training is designed to help you free up your singing voice, engaging full body and mind connecting breath>emotion>sound.

Vocal Coaching for Performance:

  • How to sing acapella, with a mic, at a recording session, with in-ear monitors.

  • How to lead your band, sing with backing tracks and work with sound engineers during live.

  • how to apply technique into a song, how to be authentic to the style, and how to deliver lyrics with integrity.

  • How to use body movements and facial expressions without getting in the way of voice quality and pitch.

By the end of this training, you will be able to build your own repertoire, sing it with confidence and effortlessly and you will be ready to face any unexpected technical issues or emotional hang up while performing.

My favorite thing about coaching singers is to assist them in developing their own style and musical vocabulary, write original composition, assist them in the making of it whether it is at a recording studio or in home studio, and help in the planing on how to deliver it to the world!
